This privacy policy explains the type, scope and purpose of processing personal data at LINKSWITCH (platform for dynamic QR codes, web business cards and shop add-ons).
1. Controller
The controller for data processing is the operator of LINKSWITCH according to the information in the Imprint.

2. Processed data
- Account data (email, username, profile data)
- Usage data (scans, clicks, vCard downloads in aggregated form; depending on subscription plan)
- Order data (products, variants, status, payment references)
- Report data and support / inquiry content
- Technical log data (timestamps, security and audit events)
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Provision of the platform and contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- Security and abuse prevention incl. honeypot/reCAPTCHA (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
- Payment processing via payment service providers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- Processing reports and legal inquiries (Art. 6(1)(c)/(f) GDPR)
- Consent-based loading of external scripts (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
4. Recipients and processors
Hosting/proxy: own server infrastructure (Traefik, Docker, PostgreSQL).
Payment provider: Stripe (for payment processing and billing in checkout/billing).
Email delivery for inquiries: SMTP service according to operator configuration.
5. Retention period
- Account data: until deletion by user or legal/operator obligations
- Audit/security logs: at least 6 months, longer in case of security incidents
- Order and tax-relevant data: according to statutory retention obligations
- Reports/leads: until processing and subsequent retention periods
6. Data subject rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection.

7. Cookies and consent management
LINKSWITCH uses a consent banner. External scripts are loaded only after consent. The decision can be changed at any time via the cookie button.
8. Data security
Transmission is encrypted via TLS. Passwords are stored hashed. Access to sensitive functions is protected by role-based access control.
9. Version and updates
Version: February 17, 2026. This policy will be updated when technical or legal changes occur.
Version note: This privacy policy is updated in case of technical, organizational or legal changes.
